This is a data migration tool for transferring data from Postgre to MySQL databases.
This tool will help transfer data from Postgre SQL database to MySQL databases. This tool is compatible to the Windows platform and will work with Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, and 8. Typically IT departments have this job of getting large amounts of data transferred. Often, this needs to be done every day at some fixed periods of time. There are multiple ways one can collect data from the source database. One simple way to do this will be to simply identify a specific table from the source database and ask the data to be transferred to a destination table. It is also possible to harvest data through a query from the source database and identify a destination table. The transfers are done automatically and time is saved when the IT department has to do this often.
A simple interface helps get settings done and even the latest recruit to the IT departments should be able to master this very quickly. An interface wizard helps make things even simpler. It helps that the interface makes it possible to configure things visually. Once done, the settings could be saved and reused on transfers at other times, saving you a lot of effort. The tool has a command line interface and once you are experienced with the required settings, this can lead to significant productivity gains. To make things even simpler you could convert a set of tables in a batch process. There is a progress bar indicating progress of the transfer operation. It indicates the time taken and time required to complete session. This is a very good tool. If you have a need, try it out in your own set up.
